WELCOME TO ALPINE QUILTERS

We meet at 7:00 pm on the third Monday of each month, January through November, at

Rockland Community Church
17 S. Mt. Vernon Country Club Rd.
(I-70 to Exit 254, turn north)
Golden, Colorado 80401

Our meetings feature a different, fascinating speaker or special event each month. We often work together to make quilts for charities such as People's Quilts, Project Linus, Bridgeway, and Family Tree.

Membership is open to anyone who is a quilter or has an interest in quilting, no matter what your skill level. Our members are friendly and our meetings are fun, so please visit us soon!

YOU KNOW YOU'RE A QUILTER IF

    • There's more fabric in the house than food
    • "Fat Quarters" does not refer to the heaviest part of your body
    • Your ironing board is always set up but your clothes are always wrinkled
    • You think of your job as an interruption of your quilting time
    • People are always picking threads off you
    • You can measure a "scant 1/4 inch" by eye
    • "Featherweight" Doesn't refer to a Boxer
    • You clean up your sewing room and your family thinks you're moving out

A recent study has indicated that fabric gives
off certain Pheromones that actually hypnotize
women and cause them to purchase ungodly amounts.
