We meet the third Monday of every month, January through November. There is no meeting in December.

Time
Meetings begin at 7 and end at 9 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for socializing.

MEETING PROGRAMS

February 20 - Game Night
Games include: Anagram, Baskets of Fun, Thimble Relay Game, and

Quilto (This game is played just like Bingo, but uses quilting terms instead of numbers and letters.
Each person brings 1 fat-quarter to "buy" 1 Quilto card, up to a maximum of 5 fat-quarters for 5 cards to play.

Prizes will be awarded from the collection of fat quarters as follows:
- 1 fat quarter to the first person to cover one line of the Quilto card
- 3 fat quarters to the first person to cover all four corners of the Quilto card
- 5 fat quarters to the first person to cover all squares of the Quilto card

March 19 - Irene Berry will present "Confessions of a Scrap Quilter." She will bring over 30 quilts and will tell a story or explain the principles of the use of scraps for each

April 16 - to be determined

May 21 - Janet Finley, will speak about the American Quilt Study Group. She will have a powerpoint presentation and handouts

June 18 - Night at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. Meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Bring a potluck dish to share!

July 16 - Speaker Ann Elliott, an appliqué expert affiliated with the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum

August 20 - Ice Cream Social. Bring a notion, quilt or craft you've made to exchange with other members

September 17 - Speaker Steve Bowley, Quilter, will talk about his quilts, being a male quilter and how he got into quilting

October 15 - to be determined

November 19 - Holiday Party and Potluck; last meeting of year

MEETING CANCELLATION POLICY

    1. The decision to cancel a meeting is made by the Chairperson and/or Co-Chairperson. One of them will contact the Newsletter editor, the Webmaster and Publicity Chairperson to initiate the cancellation notification.
    2. If you have any questions about a meeting being cancelled due to weather, please check www.alpineQuilters.org first, then the Publicity Chairperson. If no response, try someone else on the Officers/Committees list. Unless you have agenda items/issues, please don't call the Chair or Co-chair regarding cancellations.
    3. Only members without e-mail will be called (an Officer will make these few calls or request another member to do so). The Newsletter Editor will send the cancellation announcement to her e-mail list and the announcement will be posted on the website so that members and non-members alike will be informed.
